My name is Crissi Curly ,

 Being a woman of color, I have not always felt confident to wear my hair in its natural state. I have had numerous discussions and personal experiences surrounding the acceptance of my own hair & the freedom to express it how I desire to. I went natural about 11 years ago & I received a lot of criticism for that decision. We are constantly told that our hair is unacceptable and always pressured to conform to society. My desire is to change those perspectives and  to encourage other women and children to wear their hair however they want to wear it.
